Life After Death by Gail Purath

Tomb of Qin Shihuang Di in China
The pastor called reincarnation a theory for those who believe in "recycling,” and it got me thinking about human attempts to explain life after death:

1. Recycled—if you're good, your soul comes back in a better body. If you're bad, it comes back in a worse body.

2. Trashed and Burned—your soul no longer exists.

3. Flea Marketed—your soul may or may not be purchased, depending on your worth or the prayers of others.

4. Compostedyou soul becomes part of the universal soul.

But this is God’s explanation:
5. Permanently Purchased—those who believe in Him are purchased before they die and kept safe for eternity.

"And they sang a new song: '[Jesus], You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation'" Revelation 5:9.

Perhaps people believe these other theories because the truth is so remarkable.
